I just got my ASI294 Pro and have some mixed results. I took some 3 minute subs and darks and flats and they came out very well. My 5 minute subs had some strange problems. The 5 min subs look good out of the camera and did fine with flats but when I added the darks they were messed up. I have some pics below to show this. I am a Mac user with Nebulosity 4.3. I did the 3 min subs at an offset of 10 and the 5 min subs at an offset of 8. I tried 8 at first but decided to go to 10. On the Mac it appears as if you have to set offset in Nebulosity. I used Craig Starks method to determine offset and decided on 10 but my first set was 8. I am setting gain at 120 for everything. My 3 min subs darks were the same gain and the offset of 10 and for the problem 5 min subs I did the darks at 8. I am assuming darks and lights have to agree on offset, temp and gain. All were done a -10C. A separate problem happened with a batch of subs taken that show the same problems with the subs themselves, not just when calibrated with the darks. I have attached pictures of each issue. I am trying to determine what is going on here.
All were debayered, stretched and auto color corrected in Nebulosity.
