ASIAIR and EXOS 2

Hi,

I own an ASIAIR, a 178MC Cam and a EAF. I'm really satisfied of these products.

My mount is a Bresser EXOS 2, I saw in the app that it's possible to use an Explore scientfic EXOS 2 mount.

Is there somebody who can explain me how to link my mount to my ASIAIR ?

the following steps may help you

1. Switch your computer over to the PMC-Eight-xxxx SSID specific to your controller. 2. Using Putty, TELNET into address 192.168.47.1 port 54372.

3. Enter "ESX!" on the terminal window and you should see an "ESX0!" response which indicates that the communications interface was switched to the serial port (interface 0).

4. You should now be able to use the SERIAL mini-USB Type B (female) connection with your mini-USB Type B (male) to USB Type A (male) cable to communicate with the iEXOS 100.

About above setting. It means we can use both WIFI and USB connection or When we use WIFI, must change setting?

If must change setting to WIFI , please tell me how to do it.

when connected to air,you need to change from "wifi" to "serial to usb"

If you have the non pmc exos 2 you need to run st4 cable from guide camera to your mount and then a USB cable from camera to asiair. Choose st4oncamera option for mount selection and thats it.

Hi,

I've just bought an USB RJ9 converter cable based on the CH340 chip, which works well under Windows 10 letting me driving the EXOS-2 GT mount remotely. Is there a way to make it work with the ASIAIR?
