ASIAIR 2.4G WIFI

Hello,

I was looking for anyone that is running there ASIAIR at 2.4G instead of 5G. Have you had any issues doing so?

I am using a NETGEAR AC1200 Dual Band WIFI extender and for some reason the 5G band is no long showing up. 5G still works when I connect to

the ASIAIR directly. I know the issue is with the extender and I need to short that out but I wanted some advice on 2.4G encase this happens again.

I have checked this on my wifi extender,Get the same results as you.

I can connect to the extender when asiair in 2.4G mode and i have to connect to asiair directly when asiair was in 5G mode,

It seems the extender do not support the 5G .

My unit does support dual band and I had it working for a few imaging sessions. Then last week it stopped working. I will need help from

my son to get it figured out.

So when you connect using 2.4G does ASIAIR work OK or do you see to much delay?

Yes,2.4Ghz offers coverage for farther distance,but performs at slower speed than 5Ghz and the extender may cause some uncertainties result.

When you get an image from ASIAIR and render the image on your phone, it depends on the speed of the phone, in addition to the wifi speed.
