ASI120MC support in Raspberry pi 4B

Hi,

I tried to connect my ASI120MC into Raspberry pi 4B, the pi itself can detect the camera and Kstars/phd2 also can connect it. But when performing streaming and capturing, it doesn't work.

Anything to do with the compatible firmware? It still works very well on mt minipc and raspberry pi 3B.

P/S: I am not going to replace or throw this little guide cam away just because of discontinued. Hope you guys can still support it.

Hi Tom,

It is a hardware compatible problem.

You can try refresh the firmware in Windows, here is a link that could help you.

If this does not work, sorry to tell you that we do not have any other better solutions.

Assuming that you did everything described in the manual: did you ever update the RPi4 USB FW to solve some of the RPi4's heat issues? I was having similar issue on my system and it turned out that at least the FW version I had running was quite incompatible.
