Hi Katherine.
What screenshots are you thinking of? Do you think it would help much to see a picture of the Windows Device Manager showing that the camera is recognised as a 120MM?
I cannot try debayering because I have no software that allows me to debayer a mono image. I need a color image to debayer. I cannot get a color image of any description because Windows insists that the camera is mono.
What I need is very simple. I need to find a way to get Windows to recognise my camera as a 120MC rather than a 120MM. In other situations similar to this, the problem has always been to do with drivers, which is why I reinstalled everything on my laptops and did a first-time install on a clean computer.
It is clear (to me) that this must be an issue between Windows and the camera. Everything else is likely to be irrelevant (imaging software and so on). The camera is (was) a 120MC and had been successfully used as such until just recently. It seems to me that there is either a software issue (likely to do with the ZWO drivers) or there is a fault with the camera hardware/firmware.
Is there any way that I can update the 120MC camera firmware, even though every piece of software (via Windows) insists that the camera is a 120MM?
I will, of course, provide screenshots but you must tell me explicitly what you want screenshots of.
Thanks.
