I just received and installed my EAF and it works well when controlled by software. However, the hand controllers are back-ordered and I would like be able to focus my scope manually. It appears that the focuser is locked and cannot be adjust manually, whether it has power on or not. Is this true?
I don't want to force it and break it but a user on Cloudy Nights reports that he can manually focus his if the EAF does not have the power connected. Mine will not turn no matter how much torque I apply.
