Dear ZWO,
Certainly you have seen at some point my post on Facebook trying to build a bridge between ASIAIR and the local WiFi?
https://www.facebook.com/groups/ASIAIR/permalink/1411266172369935/
1. I installed a default raspbian image with LAN and WiFi (auto connect)
2. Set my local network to use the rasbian as gateway for the 10.0.0.0/24 network
3. Configured iptables on rasbian to forward all traffic to wlan0
As for the moment I am able to access (ping) and telnet specific ports on my ASIAIR from my laptop (my current IP address is 192.168.x.z)
'.
{"Event":"Version","Timestamp".817,"name":"ASI AIR imager","svr_ver_string":"1.0","svr_ver_int","firmware_ver_int","firmware_ver_string":"2.64"}
I do not want to change anything on the ASIAIR side, but I ask myself if you can let me know some details you might be able to share with me :
What currently does NOT work is the discovery in the iOS app if running inside my LAN.
How does the app lookup the ASIAIR device - by DNS, IP, Broadcast...?
PS: The plan is to share this knowledge with other users in the community as the global demand seems to be quite big.
Best,
Frank
