Halo around stars ZWO ASI071

Hi All

I still have problems with star halos on my images. I have ZWO ASI071

I had quite a few goes at taking astrophotos all year with this camera but always get halos around stars after processing. During the year I added ZWO IR filters and spacers, I tried doublets, triplet and SCT, also cooled and uncooled, and different gain levels, but alway come up with halos?

Now I’m talking about halo around all stars, not just the bright ones. Even moving the IR filter up and down the optical train didn't help much.

I have read all the forum information and don't know what else to do?

I have some the same object with the same telsecope using a DLSR, and the stars are much smaller

What else can I try? What is wrong?

i don't think Its acceptable to be getting these halos ?

Is my camera deflective?

Hi Dom,

It may related to the exposure time and aperture, when you use different camera, it will show differernt star point.
