According to your site, the full well capacity of the ASI183MM is 15,000 -e per pixel. From what I understand, some manufacturers will list how many electrons can fit in the well before it becomes non-linear as its full-well capacity. From what I read, that's what SBIG does - that their cameras can hold more electrons but they list the maximum amount of electrons that can be held and still be linear in its response. Is the 15,000 -e per pixel listed the number of electrons held while still linear or is 15,000 the actual total. And if the max total is 15,000 -e, how full does the well have to be before the pixel response is non-linear?
