Auto Guiding

Hello,

Yesterday I Tried my new ASI AIR.

I was Successful on connect to my Phone, Cannon Camera and ZWO mini Camera.

But I can't start the Auto guiding.

What i did:

Connect auto guider cable from Camera to the Mount auto guider connection.

My Mount a Celestron CGX-L.

Always when I try to start Auto guiding it told me i have first to activate all Parts.

Both Cameras are on.

The Mount not.

I set the settings CGX inside, then try to switch on.

But this was always not successful.

I don't want the Control my mount over this app I just want the guiding on this way.

Has someone some tips how to do?

Did I have to Connect to AUX or Auto guider port ?

You did not mention the model of the mount that was selected in the ASIAIR Telescope Settings window. That could be your problem.

If you wish to leave your mount alone and just guide through the ST-4 cable ("auto-guider cable"), you need to select "On-Camera-ST4" as your "mount." in the Telescope Settings window.

Ah this could be the problem.

I put the cable in the auto guider port

so I should use "On-Camera-ST4"

but I used my Mount Celestron CGX

for this maybe I has to use AUX port.

I hope for next clear sky
