Specialty bolts needed to attaching EAF to AT65EDQ

First of all I will have to drill a hole for very large tension bolt. See attachment. Then I also need much longer bolts to attach the bracket through the Crayford focuser base to the telescope. The AT65 bolts are 1cm long and countersunk 4mm. I went to Home Depot (large North American hardware/building supply store) and could only find #6 US std bolts that seemed roughly the same diameter. However, the AT65 bolt would not screw into the #6 bolt tester. I am guessing it is metric with a different threads per inch.

Can EAF adpater be fixed via these screw holes?

Yes, if I could find ones long enough. However, I don't know the bolt size which makes it hard to look for a longer bolt. I asked Astronomics about the bolts and they couldn't help me.

I got around the problem by drilling a hole in the bracket and using the tension bolt.
