Ok, so I'm building my second version of self contained allsky camera. The first one used the asi120mc and while that was ok, the sensor had way too much thermal noise. So I bought the 290mc with the supplied wide angle lens thinking this would be a great all sky camera for both daytime and night time.
However, it seems the camera does not have a uv/ir filter built in, nor can you add one and still use the lens (which apparently does not have a uv/ir filter either). This makes the camera useless in daytime, and not very useful at night either (for astro work) with the supplied lens.
So, my question is, does zwo sell a wide angle lens with built in uv/ir filter? Or, is there an adapter that would take a 1.25" filter and allow a C mount wide angle lens to the camera? Or, is there a CS mount lens with uv/ir filter built in somewhere? I've searched and searched and can find no solution.
Thanks all who can help.
