USB-RS232 cable

I seem to have misplaced my USB-RS232 cable that came with my ASIAIR. I upgraded from SkyGuider Pro to Ioptron CEM40 EC. I have older Usb-RS232 cables. I know that they can be problematic, is there a particular chip in these cables that the ASIAIR prefers? I may need to buy a replacement if the others don't work.

Hello Gaby,

If you are using the iOptron CEM40 series, there is no need to buy USB-RS232 cable, cause the mount has a USB type B port on the mount which makes it so easy to use a cable. Please check the USB type B port on the opposite side against the side that has the power port.
