ASI 174 Unexpected EXP_FAILED

The camera throws unexpected EXPOSURE FAILED error when performing (via the Python Wrapper) the following code :


camera = asi.Camera(0)

Hi Mathieu,

I noticed that the camera was turned on for each shot. is there any special reason?

And for the error, it is because the data of 2 frames is crossed, and the data of the next frame covers some data of the previous frame.

This may be caused by the camera's internal chip is not cleaned completely when the camera is turned off.

So if there is no need, I think you should open it at the beginning for one time and have a try.

Many thanks for your quick reply ! I have noticed that the error was caused by two scripts triggering expose at the same time.

This explains the cross over.

It does not occurs anymore now as I think I fixed that issue.
