Celestron 8 SE ALT-Z Mount Support

I tried ASIAIR with my Celestron Evolution 8 ALT-Z mount last year and I had some issues with it working 100% so I returned the Unit.

Can you tell me if it's now fully supported with the Celestron ALT-Z mounts? I do not have an equatorial mount.

I think my issue was I could not get it to work in conjunction with Sky Safari Pro on my IPAD.

Hello c-sanders1, if your mount has the SynScan Controller it will support.

PMTeam@ZWO you mentioned that the synscan controller is needed but the question was about a celestron evo mount and the synscan is sky watcher, I confused 🫤

davidstanley411 It should works with the nexstar hand controller on the mount, what is the problem when you use it?
