Hello
Have been using my ASI071 PRO with great results over the last 7 months.
Last week, I tried to use the camera and saw several very dark and defined smudges on the images (see attached), an appearance that looks like dirt on the sensor. It was a very cold night, -15C, and I was trying to operate the camera at -27C.
Today, I exposed the camera indoors at room temperature, and see no defects (see 2nd photo attached).
I assume this was condensation or ice on the sensor. Do you agree? If so:
1. Should the camera be cooled more slowly? Over how long?
2. I have had good success with camera temps down to -20C. Should I not try to cool it more than that?
3.. I would prefer not to open the camera, but does this mean I need to microwave the dessicant tablets? Or will just cooling down more slowly be adequate?
Thank you
Ed
