West to East random flipping on Orion Atlas and SYNSCAN Mount

Hi guys,

I was out first time last two nights with my ASIAIR.

I noticed random flips of my mount info in telescope setting menu.

ASIAIR actually flipped my setting in SYNSCAaN hand controller.

Also, I noticed other random flips in mount info page, like a complete 180 degree flip in longitude.

Latitudes info seemed stable.

Has anyone experienced this?

My location is W74; N39.

I use Orion Atlas Pro mount, w SYNSCAn ver. 4.

RS232 connection.

I ordered SYNSCAN ver. 5 with USB port. Maybe this will fix?? I am waiting to try it.

I hope this bug can be fixed.

I really like the ASIAIR concept.

Hello Dino, this is a known bug, but we are so hard to reproduce it. But we are working on it. Thank you.
