To download files from the ASIAIR through WiFI, your computer must first be connected to the same WiFi network that the ASIAIR is on. With ASIAIR v1.3, you select the ASIAIR SSID. (With ASIAIR v1.4 connected to the home network, you could use the home network.)
ASIAIR uses the Samba (SMB) file protocol.
To access a SMB volume on MacOS, you select the Go menu (in the Menu bar) of the Finder, and choose "Connect to Server..." in the drop down menu. A "Connect to Server" window should appear. Enter:
smb://10.0.0.1
into the Server address field. And click Connect. (10.0.0.1 is simply the IP address of the connected network),
After a short time, a connection window should appear, asking for user name and password. Click on the "Connect As: Guest" button, and confirm by pressing the "Connect" button.
A window now appears asking for which volume on the server 10.0.0.1 (the ASIAIR) to mount. Currently, ASIAIR only has an "Images" volume available. This is the folder by the same name on the SD card.
Click on the OK button, and you should now see an "Images" volume on your desktop. Double click on the icon and the volume will show the image files, and also a folder with the PHD2 logs.
If you use Windows or Linux, search the web on how to open a Samba or SMB volume.
Please note that guest access is only Read-Only. To erase/manage the files, you need to do it from the ASIAIR app.
Clear skies,
Chen
