Hello,

First time guiding.

Using ASI 178 on your 60mm guide scope FL 287mm;

to guide a Celestron C8 at f10 2032mm FL

Managed to keep Total Error just under 1", so I was pretty happy for a first try.

300 second exp yielded nice results.

What is Calibration Step, and Max RA (DEC) Duration?

Should I just leave the default? Are there recommended settings?

What is the calibration flip option for? I'm guessing Meridian flip after cal?

The manual is rather thin on guiding for a first time user. Can you recommend something where I can pick up a little more detail?

Hello Sir,

If you have good results, no need to change the values, but you can show the Corrections in the Guiding interface to see if the correct pulses are too small or to larger then go to adjust the values, everything you can learn from the PHD web site.
