I am in the USA, and v1.4 Beta (firmware 4.38) has been available on iOS TestFlight for a couple of days now.
ASIAIR v1.4 Beta Build 2 (firmware 4.41) just appeared this morning on TestFlight.
If you are not already accustomed to ASIAIR, I would stay away from the beta software. There is very little in the form of documentation -- even less than the public releases :-).
If there is no new function that you absolutely need, just wait for the more stable non-beta v1.4 to be released to the App Store. v1.4 has substantial changes from v1.3, and it might take a little longer this time for the ZWO folks to wring out all the bugs. Just be patient. In the past, the time between the initial beta and the public release has been something between a week to a month, but no longer, if memory serves.
If you insists on joining the beta program (with Apple's TestFlight app), be sure to first make a backup of the existing SD card. This way, if the beta prevents you from doing something, you can remove the beta app (iOS beta apps have an orange dot on the bottom left of the app icon), and reinstall the non-beta app from the App Store, and use a copy of the original SD card.
I use two different iPads, and usually have the public version of ASIAIR installed on one iPad, and the beta ASIAIR on the other. I also have half a dozen SD cards that are flashed for different firmware, so I can quickly switch back and forth if the beta bugs prevent me from doing something.
Clear skies,
Chen
