The ZWO ASI camera ASCOM driver does not seem to support setting the camera Offset from Sequence Generator Pro. The Native driver does allow me to set both Gain and Offset in SGP for each event, but the Offset cannot be set in SGP for events when using the ASI ASCOM driver for the camera. This is problematic when I use both broadband and narrowband filters in a target imaging session where the Gain and Offset are different. Thus, I cannot automate an imaging session if I need to go in to the ASCOM driver settings for each filter used to set the offset. I know which offset I need for each gain setting I use.
Is this a Sequence Generator Pro issue or a limitation in the ASI ASCOM driver?
In the near future, SGP will not support the native camera driver, only the ASCOM driver.
