ASI 2600 Manual

Hello,

Thanks for posting the manual!

I need clarification on the Glass Window for this camera. Specs in 3.0 says IR cut, 5.1 says IR cut, 5.6 says IR cut but graph shows otherwise, and in 7.0 cleaning it says AR protect. Please confirm the type of window on this camera.

Supposed to be IR window. I thought the graph looked odd also. Was expecting a sharp drop off just above Ha. Spec sheet for asi2600 comparison to asi071 listed 2600 as IR cut window and 071 as AR window. what is correct for asi2600? Is a external IR/uv cut filter needed or is the 2600 window a "cut" window? Listed as "cut" in advertising. Maybe wrong graph in manual?

The ASI2600MC Pro are using IR cut protective window and ASI2600MM Pro are using AR.

Sorry, but there is no ASI2600MM. ASI2600 is only available as OSC camera, for the ASI6200 both a monochrome and an OSC version exists.

These are the current details about the protect window of these 3 cameras given by ZWO

- in the product specification:

ASI6200MM Pro: D60-AR Coating

ASI6200MC Pro: D60-2 IR CUT

- in the manual:

ASI6200MM Pro: AR window, D60*2mm

ASI6200MC Pro: IR CUT, D60*2mm

ASI2600MC Pro: IR CUT, D60*2mm

Oddly the asi2600 manual shows a response/ wavelength graphics picture curve showing no ir sharp cutoff above Ha as a ir cut window/ filter should indicate a near vertical drop in the curve above Ha. Seems graph shows high response going above Ha. This may not be the correct graph for this camera asi2600 considering it has a ir/uv cut window??
