plate solve FOV

Will V 1.4 change the minimum FOV for plate solving in my old Air, or is that the Pro only?

Answered my own question the other night.

Using original asiair with 1.4 would not plate solve on my C8 @ f10. Still worked fine @ f2.

So... I'm waiting on my pro

Manual states .4 deg is the lowest limit for plate solution. I have an f/10 C8 and with my particular camera I’m down to .6 x .4 and do plate solve. Could it be your fov is too small? Otherwise I’m fine when I have enough stars and the sky is clear. I’ve found all it takes is a slight wisp of clouds and plate solve fails.
