ASI294MC Pro Cooled

I just purchased a ZWO ASI294MC Pro Cooled camera a month or so ago...I seem to be having a problem getting good dark frames...They are all coming out gray, not black...

With lens cover on, mounted to the scope, or unmounted, still not dark...I have the camera in a dark closet now doing some 3 minute exposures, same thing gray.

Anyone can assist I would appreciate any and all tips...May be the software, just a thought...I'm using APT to take these...

How did you produce the image that we see? Did you stretch it with some software tool? What does the histogram of the darks look like? If the histogram is ok (i.e. a very sharp peak far to the left) then this grey image could just be a displaying issue and not an issue with the darks itself.
