Thanks for these suggestions...
Have an EQ6R-Pro and was planning on using an Intel NUC to run the mount and scopes.
I've been so pleased with the original ASIAir (using with iPad and SkySafari Pro), and just ordered the Pro version.
It has been suggested to use the following settings - do these still apply with the new 1.4 update? For the AVX, the Celestron AVX GEM setting works for me, and using the IP 10.0.0.1 and Port Number 4030.
In Safari 6 Pro settings.
Under user data
Click save and restore settings.
Under current settings
Click Revert charts to factory defaults
Click Done
Now go back into settings
Under Telescope set up change scope to Meade LX200 Classic, as suggested by Suttonrog, (Thanks for that)
Change mount to Equatorial (German)
Under Communication settings
IP Address 10.0.0.1
Port Number 9624
Will move the ASIAir over to the EQ6R-Pro mount and test how these settings work.
It was mentioned to use EQMOD - I've got EQMOD working on W10pro - is there something I'm missing? Where does the EQMOD fit into the hardware & software and ASIAir?
Welcome any suggestions to flatten the learning curve with the new mount and ASIAir.
Thanks, Jim
