Received the asi2600 February 15th. Off to star party 17th. As with all new stuff there are difficulties. first was downloading the various software and drivers, could of been more automated, but got there. BUT the computer would not recognize the camera eventhough it recognized that the usb was plugged in. Tried two different computers same result. Finally figured out how to connect the camera with the USB 2 connector and now it works. Due to weather and other conditions only got 7 usable subs. Processed them anyway no darks or flats. Wind shake on stars but it was fun. Looking forward to future imaging. nice camera
Would like to see a chart for the 2600 of recommended exposure times verses sky brightness and if offset is needed. need to make a temperature darks library. looks like som good possibilities. if I post the picture remember it is not great at 7 exposures and no correction other than a stretch and color boost.
