Hello-
I just ordered an ASIAir Pro, and have two questions:
-Will it support live-stacking for Electronic Assisted Astronomy? I want to take short subframes (10 seconds), and have it continuously update the images as is done with EAA. Since I have an Alt-Az Mount, the stacking will also require to reduce field rotation.
-Will ASIAir Pro work with a Meade Alt-Az LX65 Mount? I’m currently using SkySafari and Meade Stella (Sky-Fi) for the Wifi connection. So I will continue to use the Meade AutoStar to Control the mount. But I do that through SkySafari by connecting SkySafari to my iPad using the Stella WiFi, and then SkySafari to the Meade AutoStar over a serial connection from the Meade Sky-Fi to the AudioStar (AutoStar) handbox. Can ASIAir make the SkySafari connection to an Alt-Az Meade Mount? Should ASIair work in Alt-Az mode?
In SkySafari, the scope type is “Meade LX65, LX80, LX90, LT”. The mount type is “Alt-Az. GOTO”.
