We have bought 2 ASI 290MC's for live streaming events at our observatory using OBS Studio, but even though both cameras can be seen by ASICAP only one can be seen by AMCap and OBS Studio, is there another driver that could be used for the second camera? I am using the DirectShow driver for the video capture programs.

no,directshow driver can only use one camera
But the thing is when I connect a third camera, an ASI178MM, as you can see on the screenshot, AMCap enumerates it just fine, but only one of the same model cameras can be seen on the list, and I can also view both cameras (178&290) at the same time if I remove one of the 290, because having them both connected it gets confused.

Like we said before, it is normal.
Because AMCap is used our direct show driver, so for the 2 same cameras, it only could identify one.
But in device manager, it is different. And 2 same cameras could be recognise.
