Hi (any members having a similar problem since upgrade or fixes)
I have been successfully using the Asiair (not pro) for a year without problems but since the latest firmware version 1.4(4.55) update the Asiair will not give me an accurate goto function.
After the normal setup sequence on the synscan and three star alignment then using the Asiair search and goto the result is way off target sending the eq6r mount in a different direction but goto on Synscan and SkySafari plus is working correctly. I have tried manually correcting the mount and then plate solving but after plate solve the mount continues to go in wrong direction, as an example the mount is being sent to 8hr 05 03 instead of the 12hr 54m 54s I wanted.
Also I have a problem with the PA function. The PA software is not swinging the head 60 degree after the first plate solve and it just reads 0 on the counter and the head stays in the setup position.
Could you please let me know if you are aware of this and if there is a software update fix in the future.
