Your manual filter wheel (5 position, 1.25" filters) is not light proof (so doing darks after the moon rises fails for one example) and dust gets in on the filters.
Could you please suggest to your team that they add something like the dark fibrous or felt-like material edge-loading cd/dvd readers use to prevent entry of dust into their slots?
