ASI Air 2.5mm port for Cameras with Sony

I have a 2.5mm to Sony cable I can use with various devices such as Miops and Pulse trigger as well as generic interval timers.

From the ASIAIR pro page, it just lists Canon and Nikon.

Would it be possible to connect my sony camera using the 2.5mm cable? Have you tested it. If you can please test it with any sony camera like A7, A7R etc., then it would be good enough. Even if you cannot change focus etc., if you can atleast do exposures. Moreover sony released the SDK for controlling sony cameras through external cable, and it would be great if you added Sony camera's to your test suite.

Hi, Can you add limited support for exposure control. So that if I add dithering the app pauses exposures and then restarts after moving scope. For controlling camera to take pictures you do not need that.

More DSLRs support is on the way but needs more time.

Thanks. I see my ASI AIR has 2.5mm port. How to use this? Manual does not talk about this port at all
