I just tried a 30 second exposure (indoors) and it ran through fine with my 071MC Pro, so it is probably not a v1.4.1 (4.66) firmware problem.
The error message that you saw occurs when a connection is lost between the ASIAIR and the camera, and then reconnected again.
The loss of electrical connection to the camera is possible if there is insufficient power to the ASIAIR and consequently insufficient power to support the camera through USB. The fact that it cuts off at 10 seconds, instead of at random times, seems to point suspiciously in that direction.
It is worth double checking the 5V supply to your ASIAIR and also ensure that the low power indicator does not show up. And perhaps swap a USB Type-A to Type-B cable.
You can try connecting the camera to a real computer, using something like ASICAP, and using the same USB cable that you use on the ASIAIR. See if it fails there too with a 10+ second exposure -- if so, the camera may need to visit the doctor.
Good luck,
Chen
