Having a Skywatcher 200 PDS, I am trying to capture picture using my new ASI 178MC camera and an hyperion baader eyepiece (13mm).
It seems I have a focus issue.
For the first try, I had the camera moonted directly on the eyepiece using only the adapter. I was not able to do focus on the moon.
For my second try, I had inserted an extension ring (40mm) between the camera and the eyepiece. The moon was not there, so I had try on beehive cluster, but I had nothing but black picture (removing the camera what I can see thru the eyepiece is wondeful).
Do I need to add another extension ? or 40mm is too much ? What is the correct distance I need between this camera and my eyepiece ?
