delete problem fixed

The last three imaging runs the asi air has not performed the auto meridian flip. The first two times I was imaging c7 and this time I was imaging m101. I was awake the first two times but this last time I woke to my camera against the tripod. No damage thank God. What's the issue anyone find this. I noticed it got cloudy. Does asiair meridian flip anyway if it's imaging and it is waiting to settle after a dither but clouds move in.

Mount is eq6rpro skywatcher. I'm not using a hand controller my mount has direct USB plug on mount. The hand controller completely removed. Auto meridian flip worked before.

I also don't know but the meridian flip worked on update where it was enabled. I received another update and I'm thinking that meridian flip hasn't worked since.

Recommend to use the EQMod, simpler and more stable.

Hi Ji,

Yes the meridian flip failed. It has worked before my last update. I woke yesterday morning with the camera pushed hard up against the mount. The micro USB cable has been bent in the port under the force and damaged the pins inside my canon 60d DSLR, which is now not possible to connect to ASIAIR and It is very sad. The repair job is worth more than a new camera unfortunately. The mount is an HEQ5 Pro. Running original ASIAIR, skywatcher evostar scope, ASI120mini guide cam and scope and (now broken Canon 60d.

Further to this, does anyone know if there is another way to connect the canon 60d to ASIAIR? With the micro USB now broken, could I use the hdmi port on the DSLR ?

Sorry to hear that. Did the mount power on in ZERO position? We tested on EQMod and others get the right result.

I always reset the mount and fresh polar align with every session so mount was starting in zero.

As I mentioned it has worked before my last update, but this time it broke my camera.

Can I connect my DSLR another way to ASIAIR without micro USB, maybe with HDMI out port to USB port on ASIAIR?
