Updated post and summary
My ASIAir got corrupted during a firmware upgrade, resulting in no ASIAir wifi.
The probable cause imo, was corruption during the download from Apple Appstore. The app ran on my IPadOK, but failed in the middle of updating the ASIAir. It never completed the update of the ASIAir firmware, there was a ZWO error message at 20% completion.
We resolved the problem by
*downloading a new ASIAir image from Google drive to OSX platform
* making a new ASIAir image using Apple Pi-Baker
* delete completely the app from my iPad, restart iPad and download from fresh
* run ASIAir using fresh image and attach iPad app to it
* flash new QR code, kindly supplied by Katherine
* successfully run ASAir 1.4.1 4.66
Problem resolved.
