Asi2600 usb connection

Have new asi2600. the computer doesn't recognize the camera on usb3, it knows a device has been plugged in but not what it is. It recognized the camera on usb2. Interestingly after several restarts (computer) and reconnecting the usb3 i got a recognition on usb3 but rarely only twice it worked. Used the usb2 plug in camera and no problems. any suggestions on using usb3 with consistent conectivity? the computer knows it is plugged in but seems it can't identify the device as the asi2600 in usb3, but it does in usb2

PS: windows 10 Toshiba laptop and tried 2 other computers with same results.

Did you connect the 12V power cable when uisng the camera?

Yes. Works on usb2

Poor picture only 7 subs no flat or dark. Very windy shaky. just a quick trst.

Please try it on another PC.

Same result on two different laptops but maybe they don't have usb3 as it is a newer type. Will try it on a 3rd machine that is new this year.

Seems the usb cable length at 10 feet is too long to work. Short usb3 works into an asiair pro. May try a powered hub or amplified usb3 cable.
