Set Cooling via SDK

Hello!

Just a quick question with regards to cooling:

Is it possible to set the cooler power instead of a target temperature i.e. set the cooler to run at 50% (whatever temperature that will give)?

I would try it out but I don't have a cooled ASI cam...

Hi Mike,

No. Because the power required to reach the same target temperature is different at different ambient temperatures. So if the cooling power is fixed, the temperature of the camera may change as the ambient temperature changes.
