Hi I have a problem on the 294mc pro sensor. In practice, when cooling is activated and the sensor drops below 0 ° C, these defects appear, which I attach to the photo. With the passage of 3/4 hours the defect disappears gradually reducing. This defect does not appear on the dark it does only on the light. It doesn't seem to be condensation. To the eye, nothing strange is seen. What can it depend on ??

Hi,

since last week I have a similar (or the same?) problem.

The ASI294 ist always mounted to the RASA 11", everything

is dry and unchanged for months.

I attach an (extremely stretched) screenshot.

In the center the problem is obvious, but some areas

on the left and the right are also affected.

After a few nights of testing I'm almost sure

that the problem is caused by humidity.

As I didn't remove the Camera from the telescope

I can‘t say if its on the inside or outside of

the front glass or on the sensor.

What can I do?

Dear All,

Sorry for the problem.

For the current, we still did not know what caused this problem. But there is a method could solve this problem now.

When the camera reach the target temperature after cooling, please wait for at least 20 minutes. According to our test, usually, this phenomenon will disappear after the waiting.

Hi,

I already tried this and for a while it worked.

Unfortunately the phenomenon ist getting worse over time.

Waiting over 3 hours didn't help. :-(

As soon as the sensor temperature is lower than about

15 degrees below the environment temperature the

problem occurs.

I've been having the same issue when it gets cold out, strange colored circle right smack in my object.! This is straight from APP....No post processing...
