After the latest update 4.4, It now connects, thanks!
The next steps were required
Switch the iPad (or smartphone or Pc) on, be sure that it is connected to an existing WiFi or switch WiFi off to be sure that it does not connect to the router which is switched on in the next step.
Switch on router
I have an old sitecom router which I gave base address 192.168.31.1. Check your router base address and replace in the following 192.168.31 by the corresponding part of your router base address, which I indicate by B
Connect starbook to mount, connect starbook with LAN cable to router, switch on mount, check address of starbook (“about starbook” in the starbook menu), it should be B.x or B.xx in my setup: 192.168.31.50. Most probably it will be B.2 in your setup. Activate the scope mode of the starbook.
Switch the Asiair on.
Select the Asiair WiFi on the iPad and start the asiair app, select WiFi icon in the Asiair app, activate WiFi station mode and enter IP address (to be) provided by router to Asiair, usually it will be 1 higher than address of starbook, in my setup: 192.168.31.51. Thus most probably B.3 in your setup.
Select the mount icon in the asiair app and enter in Telescope settings:
“Vixen StarBook” and the starbook address, in my setup 192.168.31.50 port 80.
Connect the iPad to the Sitecom router WiFi. Check the IP address of the iPad, its address must not be the address of the starbook or Asiair. Usually it will be 1 higher than the Asiair address. In my setup: 192.168.31.52.
The Asiair app should now connect to the mount via the router. You may check it by giving a goto command or by using the software keypad, but change the rate of 5x into 8x.
The Asiair and mount should stay connected if you now connect the iPad to the Asiair WiFi.
