Yep, what I meant is that in the manual states "By default the Home position is the same as the index position used when aligning the mount." but that is not true, if you slew anywhere then go to home by Menu>Utilities>Home position> goto it will not return to index position, it will miss that point and go further, as same as what is happening by going home using asiair.

To set the Home position for your mount, simply use the arrow buttons on the hand control to move the telescope mount to the desired position Select the Set option and press Enter.

Corsair Yes, I moved the mount using the arrow buttons and set the home position and another thing happened, the RA limits were affected, on one side it would go pass the limit and on the other side it stops way before reaching it. Ill do a fimware update (if theres any) and try again.

About AVX do you have any specific setting to make ASIAir work in PA?
Since many FW updates ago I’m not able to make it work, so I unplug the HC cable and rotate RA manually of around 60°
If I try with ASIAir driving the mount, it moves slowly then accelerates and then gets idle not reaching the position and wait forever

My cgem2 does similar thing. My marks are about 2in off from markings. im not sure if that’s a lot but I just know it’s not right. I turn mount on, off, turn asi on ,mount on, quick alignment still in index,set home in HC settings. After PA and moving anywhere , using ASIAIR it never goes to index mark. If I use the mount like norm, no ASIAIR , it goes straight to index markers.
