Actually Zwo answered me and told me that it’s in the to-do list, but they haven’t all the cameras for testing, so it’s not a fast thing to implement. That’s what I was told a couple week ago in this very same forum.

iridium It's very hard to say the date, all are based on the development progress, hope to release the beta version in the next month.

If you plan to add 6 more DSLR, can you tell already which modells? Nikon D780?

I am Soooooooo glad I found this thread before spending $2500+ on a Canon EOS RA as I was seriously considering it. It seems to me that ZWO wants to push consumers to their line of cameras. I cannot believe this issue has been delayed for close to a year. Now, if they want to do that, this is their prerogative, but it is disappointing. Competition is a good thing for this space and encourages better products at better prices. I hope they will come through soon with support for this Canon EOS RA, but if they don't, I'm just glad I didn't invest the time and money in getting the camera only to find out it didn't work. I would be pissed.

my advice would be.... if you want the EOS RA then buy it !
There are several other devices available that are similar to the ASI AIR PRO that DO support the RA. (i wont name them here as i dont want to break any forum advertising rules, if any, but an internet search for ASI AIR alternatives should throw a few up)....
if you already own the ASI AIR then consider buying and flashing a different operating system to a different card and use that, there is some minimal setup involved getting running but the info is out there!

Dont think that ZWO are holding you over a barrell with the EOS RA, they are simply way behind by not supporting it

threemcs Sorry about this, but we do not have the DSLR on our hand, and cannot test them so temporarily ASIAIR only support part of DSLR.

threemcs unfortunately I jumped on both the ASIair pro and Ra without looking up the support. I just thought 100% it would be supported. Been a bit of a bummer. I use my ASIair pro with my asi2600 and really enjoy the interface and how easy it is to use, coming from a SGP background. I would definitely buy a 2nd ASIair pro to run my Ra with my other scope and mount. But probably would have looked at a different camera in hindsight Since it doesn’t seem like support is coming. Shit I’ll even send zwo my Ra to test with to help with testing.
