Hi,
We often need to unplug and re-plug our USB asi183mm camera so that Windows 10 picks it up again. We had similar issues with Win7. Cameras are new. Had similar issues with 174mm model.
Is there something that can be done to avoid this ?

Could you please tell us what software did you use? You could try update the driver or ASCOM, or you could use ASIStudio software.
