Filter thickness for mini EFW 1.25"

I would like to use the mini EFW to swap my SA-100 Star Analyzer diffraction grating in and out of the optical path. It is in standard 1.25" filter format however the filter band is 7mm thick and the threads are 3 mm thick. This is exactly the max thickness that your manual says will work. Is there any room to spare or is this just too thick to work.

Sorry we recommend the thickness of filters is no more than 7mm and the thickness of threads is no more than 3mm. So there is no more room to spare.
