Image problems with my 183 MC Camera with SharpCap Pro

Hi,

I have a 183 MC (non-cooled) on a small refractor for Solar and Lunar time-lapse work.

This also has a 120 mm mini on the guide scope and guiding is done with LuSol Guide which works flawlessly.

After the recent update in Sharpcap I am getting numerous corrupted frames in the 183. The Moon and Sun sometimes shift off centre even though the guiding is holding accurate to one pixel.

Occasionally I see double or split images as per the attached photo.

The following video shows this occurring in real-time.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I have never had an issue with this combination in many months using the 3.0.0.7 driver and prior versions of Sharpcap Pro.

You could try update the ASCOM driver, ASI camera driver, or use ASIStudio software.

Thanks, I turned Turbo USB speed down to 50 and so far it has been good (over 10,000 frames captured today in a timelapse and no issues)

I have the latest software from ZWO and I think the problem was caused by a Turbo USB setting of 100.
