I am using an asi120 mini as a guide camera under Maxim. The Ascom driver has a timing problem.
Normally, when calibrating the guider, Maxim does the following steps:
1) expose an image, 3 seconds for example.
2) Find the star position.
3) Move the scope for perhaps 10 seconds.
4) After the move completes, take another image. Calculate the number of pixels moved.
5) repeat 1-4 for each direction.
With the ASI driver step 4 fails - the system does not wait for the move to complete, but starts exposing right away. This gives a star streak as the mount is still moving.
This also fails the same way when using the Move dialog from the Guider tab. For example, specify to move in the Y direction some amount then expose a new image. The new exposure starts right away rather than waiting for the move to complete.
Using Maxim 6.20, current downloaded ASI driver, Ascom 6.3, Windows 10.
