Item not delivered after a month - shoud I cancel order??

I ordered a filter holder last month and on 27 May was informed you had shipped it -

however as of today it has not left China.

Should I cancel my order and find an alternative??

I am in the same boat, so to speak.

I had ordered an EAF bracket for the SCT FTF. ZWO shipped on the 26th of May. Tracking shows that it has been stuck in Shanghai since the 28th of May.

I am not in a hurry and chose free airmail (ChinaPost). You may have done that too -- if you need faster delivery times, you probably should have used EMS or UPS.

This kind of delay is expected with ChinaPost. For example, I had ordered a head thermometer in late April directly from a vendor in Shenzhen (nothing was available in the USA back then). It finally appeared 4+ weeks later through US Postal Service mail (not a fault of USPS; it too was stuck in some Chinese airport). By that time, Amazon had them in stock.

My recommendation is to give it 6 weeks before panicking.

We are so sorry for the delay, the shipping will still delay due to the impact of the epidemic. But the tracking info will update once the parcel arrive at your country. It will take long time, but we can't control it. Please wait for a while, thanks.

FYI: my package from ZWO whose tracking info was stuck in Shanghai since the 28th of May has finally (and suddenly) popped up on USPS tracking at Los Angeles on July 2.

ZWO probably should put a warning note about the transit time when you click on the "free airmail" selection.
