I'm trying to use my 120MM-S as a guide camera with PHD2 and am having trouble. Just a note, I am new to AP and guiding, so I don't have any experience to draw upon. When I use a Bad pixel Map and begin looping with the camera with 1s exposures in a test configuration (camera capped and not using a guide scope), the displayed image looks like a star field. I wasn't expecting that. And each looped image is somewhat different. I also can't calibrate using PHD2, it keeps telling me the stars aren't moving enough. I'm guessing something is wrong with the camera but I'm not sure how to diagnose what's wrong. The camera is a little over a year old (purchased at the 2019 NEAF from High Point Scientific) but this is the first time I've used it. Please let me know how I can diagnose this problem better.
