After tightening everything up, start a new polar alignment session. See what the PA window displays as the azimuth and altitude errors. Your mount has most likely moved as you were locking the bolts. The magnitude of the two sets of numbers will tell you which axis is the bigger offender.
Unless you have an expensive mount on a solid pier, you will find that it works better to start slowly tightening the locks as you approach the correct polar alignment, instead of locking it from a completely loose position at the end of the process. Just apply the same care that you have used in the past when you polar aligned with a polar scope, PoleMaster, SharpCap, or PHD2 drift alignment.
