Hi,

I'm having some issues with my asi1600mcpro. The temperature is not read to the software. No matter what the temperature is the sensor is read as 0 degrees and is trying to regulate to that temperature. If the temp is set o to -1 degrees, it will ramp up to 100% cooling. If the cooling is set to 1% it will ramp down to 0% cooling.

The regulating is working it just reads the temperature wrong from the camera.

I have a spare asi1600 camera which is now on the telescope and the regulation is working fine, which rules out the computer and software.

I'm fairly technical, so if its a simple hardware fix please let me know.

Hi Brett,

Please test it in the ASIStudio, if it shows the same problem, I think there is a problem with the temp sensor. Please send the camera back for repair.

If you buy it from a dealer you can contact them direclty.

Where and when did you buy this camera? If you buy ti from a dealer you can send it back to the dealer for repair.
