ASI533MC Pro and Sequence Generatot Pro

While I patiently wait the arrival of my ASIAir and new guide camera I would like to get the 533 playing nice with Sequence Generator Pro (SGP). The 533 plays well with Astro Photography Tool (APT) doing everything I ask.

I have tried everything I can think of to get the 533 to work. It seems the camera drivers (downloaded from the ZWO web site, are not supported in SGP. There are two versions of the camera driver listed on the ZWO web site, neither works in SGP.

Anyone else had this issue and managed a resoution?

Got my Issue resolved. Seems the way I have things set up the issue was I wasn't using Plate Solve 2 as the plate solve program. Once I shose PS2 I was on my way..... to the NEXT issue.

Captured images are displaying issues of the Red channel displaying Blue. As a rule after stacking in Astro Pixel program APT captured images in Rit format gave me a RGB image. Doesn't happen with SGP images. IF I debayer in PixInSight I get a RGB image lacking the Red Channel.

On the SGP forum there is a bit of chatter about the ASI071 having this issue with the conclusion that it is a ZWO driver issue!

Is ZWO getting questions from anyone else on this issue, OR did i just click some wrong buttons?

I recommend you testing the camera in ASIStudio to see if the problem can be reproduced. Also, could you share some image with problems with us?

Thanks fot your attention. I found a fix that solved my issue. Perhaps the other people having issues like mine sbould alter their setting in the Camera section of SGP. I simply told SGP to use "MONO" rather than a debayering Matrix and I was off to the races, problem solved!!!

Below is a image consisting of 5- 240 second images with a Gain of 101 and an Offset of 35. Scope is a SharpStar 61EDPH II guided by PHD2 with a 60mm StarField guide scope and an old ASI120MM. These were stacked in Astro Pixel Processor and processed in PixInSight. Not bad for limited data!!!
